Leo's Spring Garden

Leo wanted to start a garden in his backyard. First, he used a small shovel to dig five holes in the dark, cool dirt. He carefully dropped tiny seeds into each hole and covered them with soil. He gave the seeds a little splash of water.
For many days, Leo waited and watched. One morning, he was excited to see tiny green sprouts poking through the soil! He pulled out the weeds and kept watering his plants every day. The warm sun helped the plants grow taller and taller.
Finally, beautiful red tomatoes grew on the vines. Leo picked a big, juicy tomato and took it inside for lunch. He was so proud of his spring garden and couldn't wait to grow more vegetables!
