১. শিক্ষার্থীরা বিভিন্ন ধরনের শব্দ সমস্যা (word problems) পড়তে ও বিশ্লেষণ করতে পারবে। ২. শিক্ষার্থীরা সমস্যা সমাধানের জন্য প্রাসঙ্গিক কৌশল ও টুল নির্ধারণ করতে পারবে। ৩. শিক্ষার্থীরা সমস্যার সমাধান চিত্র ও সংখ্যা বাক্য (number sentence) দিয়ে উপস্থাপন করতে পারবে। ৪. শিক্ষার্থীরা গাণিতিক প্রশ্ন ও অগাণিতিক প্রশ্ন পার্থক্য করতে পারবে। ৫. শিক্ষার্থীরা নিজেদের সমাধান কৌশল মূল্যায়ন ও উপস্থাপন করতে পারবে।
